I can’t believe that it’s here already. Then again, I still have to make it through today…
In any case, I am fixing to enjoy a weekend where I may actually be social for an evening with real people and everything. Soon to be followed by my wondering “WHAT WAS I THINKING???”
With that said, this weekend is, I believe, the first “normal” one post holidays and now we have to get back into the swing of things with work and school and getting serious about 2012. Until President’s Day.

I have to do a final draft for a piece for Netherlands public radio. Then I have to laugh long and hard that I just finished a piece for Netherlands public radio.

It’s going to be in an audio format, anew ill taken from a former front pager. That I am doing it at all, though, is so profoundly weird that I think I will write about the experience.

If the 49ers win on Sunday, I might spend the next two weeks being a pain in the ass.
This evening is my special birthday dinner from Jason, and the rest of the weekend will be alternately playing with my daughter and in Skyrim.
Oh, as an occasional break from the monochromaticity of the Nord homeland (makes me wish for pink snow*) I played Q.U.B.E. over the past couple of weeks, which was well worth the $12 I gave Steam for it.
*The referenced rhodochion is at 3:30 in the linked video, but it may only be funny to those who have had to watch hours of these kinds of videos with their daughters.

Chinese buffet with my wife tonight. Tomorrow housework and birthday party for Luiz. Sunday, nothing really.

Lots of laundry. Blew the dust out of a server and reracked it. Backed the PC up…again. Took the boys out to spend some of their birthday/Christmas money. Corraled the youngest for his first goalkeeper practice of the season. Dragon Age. Birthday party. Football (hoping for a Giants/Patriots SB rematch (sorry Patrick)), Arsenal/Manchester United. Ending the weekend with a soccer game of my own.
That’s okay. I’m rooting for Baltimore/SF, so we balance the Universe.
