Entomology!

I have installed Mass Effect 3 and downloaded my associated DLC for the game.

Mass Effect 2 had this ability where you could import your character from Mass Effect 1.

Mass Effect 3 has an ability to import your character from Mass Effect 2… but it has a problem with importing the faces from Mass Effect 2 save games that have characters imported from Mass Effect 1. Apparently, they only tested with pure Mass Effect 2 faces.

Sigh.

So far, attempts to recreate Shepherd’s face have only resulted in Shepherd’s cousin. His mean cousin. I go to bed in the hopes that all of the assurances that Bioware is working very hard on this will result in a fix by tomorrow night (where I have received assurances that I will *NOT* have to run errands again).

  1. This is the sort of thing that would make me very ranty. Were you very ranty?

  2. A friend was having a similar problem (“First World Problem of the Day” he called it) and recommended this link

    • Yeah, that was one of the ones I stumbled across yesterday while searching for a fix.

I think I’m going to do that tonight if they don’t have a fix yet.
