An Ethical Dilemma

As a general rule, one ought not to rejoice in the death of another human being. But not all killings are equal. One should rejoice when evil is defeated.

Osama Bin Laden’s death is not the end of anything. It will not end al Qaeda, it will not end terrorism, it will not end the U.S. war in Afghanistan. It is, however, a significant milepost along a journey to a better and more peaceful world.
