E3 has come to a close.
The most exciting thing to come out of E3, to my mind, was Cyberpunk’s release of a new trailer:
That trailer has everything. Most notably: a 1980’s Trans-Am. That wasn’t the only thing though. We saw announcements for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Elder Scrolls VI, Smash Bros for Switch, Last of Us II, and Starfield.
On top of that, we’ve seen a lot of new information for games like Spider-Man PS4 (do you miss the Batman Arkham games? I’ve got good news… looks like we’ve got a game that just might fill that hole in your heart), Resident Evil 2 Remastered has confirmed they’ve revamped the controls (they’re using RE4 controls now!), Kingdom Hearts 3, and Death Stranding has a new poster and it includes a female character wearing a necklace and people suspect that the necklace contains a secret message that uses Quipu? I can’t say that I understand this last one.
And I’m not even talking about the War-themed shooters or the Dark Souls inheritors (which, I admit, haven’t ever really moved me that much).
This was a pretty awesome E3. (Heck, even Microsoft went back to talking about games! Remember the year that they talked about using the Xbox to watch sports and using the Kinect to change channels? Good times.)
All in all, I’m excited.
So… what was your biggest takeaway from E3?
