The elephant in the LoOG room has only been the most significant election this Tuesday, Wisconsin’s recall election of Gov. Scott Walker. Governor Walker punked the educrat-union-political complex by tightening its belt bigtime—the only question was whether he’d get away with it.
Looks like he has—all major networks have called the recall that he won’t be recalled, at this hour by between 10 and 15 points.
By American standards, even 10 points—55-45%—is a “landslide.” Reagan beat Jimmy Carter by only 9 points and that election was not regarded as close.
This election means nothing. It means everything.
[LATE ADD: Walker 53% Barrett 46%, closer to the Obama-McCain numbers.]
