Whoops!

This is unfortunate:

The website of Linda Reid, British Columbia’s deputy speaker and the B.C. Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly for Richmond East, includes the web address of a teen porn site.

Reid’s personal campaign website and Facebook page both list her site with a lindareid.com address, though her site is actually a lindareid.ca address. The discrepancy is likely a typo.

The .com website, actually called Teen Flesh, is plastered with images of what appear to be teenage girls engaged in hardcore sex acts. Reid has no affiliation with lindareid.com

But hey, it worked for Justin Trudeau.

  1. The official web site of the White House is whitehouse.gov. There’s a whitehouse.XXX site (I don’t recall whether XXX is com, org, or net, and, being at work, can’t check) that’s a porn site. This must have resulted in unfortunate outgoing links sometime in the past.

  2. Heh… when I was building my home gym, I did some purchasing and comparison shopping with Dick’s Sporting Goods. Their website is dickssportinggoods.com, which is so cumbersome and easy to fudge up that they bought the redirect rights to something far simpler. What was it? Dicks.com, of course. Every time I typed it in at work, I crossed my fingers that something hadn’t changed since the last time I checked it out.
