I’ve always enjoyed Natalie Merchant’s poetry set to music. Even when her politics got a bit heavy-handed back in the 10,000 Maniacs days, she still made a good emotional connection.
Agreed. She has a wonderful, unique, voice, with a rich, warm, and emotionally captivating texture.
