Apologies for light posting

I’ve been covering the inpatient service for my practice over the past week, and have been a little bit busier than usual.  Blogging has, unfortunately, had to take a backseat to my doing the things I get paid to do.  I’ll be traveling to visit friends over the next couple of days (you know who you are), and will be back to regular posting on Monday.

Russell Saunders

Russell Saunders is the ridiculously flimsy pseudonym of a pediatrician in New England. He has a husband, three sons, daughter, cat and dog, though not in that order. He enjoys reading, running and cooking. He can be contacted at blindeddoc using his Gmail account. Twitter types can follow him @russellsaunder1.

  1. I’ve long since given up on apologizing for periods of light posting. Unless someone’s paying you to write, you should write when it’s to your benefit to do it, and there’s times that other things are more important. My day job gets in the way of my hobbies all the time and my clients need me as much as your patients need you.

We’ll still be here when the pressures on your time recede, Doctor.

  2. So if we’re not being visited… that means… *sob*
