Ideally, I get to work around the time Marketplace Morning Report ends.
As time goes on, I find myself a few blocks away from work when it ends… then halfway to work when it ends… and when I find myself tuning in to the end of the report as I slide into the car first thing in the morning, I figure that I need myself a small vacation. That’s what yesterday, today, and Monday are doing for me.
I will be relaxing this weekend, doing laundry, playing video games, and finding reasons to not have to wear more than pajamas.
Yesterday, I had one of those naps where I put the game controller down, leaned back, put my hands on my belly, and went away for 20 minutes. My goodness, I love those naps.
What’s on your docket this weekend?
Leaving from work early (after arriving early) to go to the End of the Year Picnic at the younger’s preschool. Tomorrow is a dance recital and a final baseball game (co-scheduled, that’s always fun).
At some point, I’m going to pretend to move some stuff around in the garage. Can’t wait for mid-June when calendar gets less crowded.
I remember those naps. Those were the days….
Work and Work. Tomorrow’s a half-day, though, so at least I can get some chores done.
That’s a drag.
