So… what are you reading?
As I sit and hold the table at our local Blast Area tonight, I will be leafing through Ultimate Spider-Man, Vol. 17: Clone Saga, Ultimate X-Men, Vol. 2, and Kick-Ass.

I’m going to Hawaii for the first time ever in a few weeks, so this weekend I read Sarah Vowel’s Unfamiliar Fishes.
Cool! Have fun!
(Get something lighter for the plane trip itself.)
Are you taking the fam?
It might be more accurate to say they are taking me.
And you are right, i need to seek out a few good brain candy reads in the next week or so.
Taking you, eh?
Here are your tools for revenge: Hawaiian Shirts. Socks for your sandalled feet. Stand strategically behind a fountain spitting into a lake and have the kids take a picture.
This is your birthright. Take it.
I’m reading Neil Gaiman’s “The Graveyard Book” (Odd and the Frost Giants was better, so far) and trying to get back into Matthew Alexander’s “How to Break a Terrorist”.
I scraped paint off the eaves all day. I’m bushed.
I read that three times before it registered that you had not written “scraped paint off the elves.”
I really liked The Graveyard Book, but it’s no Stardust.
Or Ananzi Boys.
