Well, I’m playing the new Magic: The Gathering and they’ve come up with a pretty interesting idea or three. I’m also apprehensive/thrilled to hear that the new/improved “Extended Cut” for the ending of Mass Effect 3 is coming out on the 26th.
So… what are you playing?
Not playing, really, but in about an hour I’ll be taking the oldest spawn to see Prometheus. And maybe later this weekend the family will see Brave, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and/or Safety Not Guaranteed.
It appears we do movies in waves.
Oooh, I really want to see Safety Not Guaranteed. Let me (us) know how it is!
The new expansion for Civ V.
I got into the DoTA 2 beta this weekend, but it’s not really remotely friendly for learning to play the game so I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it. I purchased Quantum Conundrum and will give that a try later this evening, and I still haven’t gotten through all the content for The Wrath of the Lamb yet, so I’m still making Binding of Isaac runs most evenings.
I recently finished Rage (to the extent that one can finish playing a game that the developers never really finished making — looks like they all got bored and quit just a few hallways before the big final boss battle). My son got me a PSN card for Dad’s Day and I got Flower and Pinball Arcade — both enjoyable in their own way.
Man, I love Flower. It’s the perfect “I can’t sleep, okay I can sleep now” game.
I was surprised when I got deeper into it and saw that it actually had some evil thing to be defeated, and a boss fight of sorts — I thought it would be purely meditative, but it played more like a video game poem.
