I’ve been playing Sleeping Dogs which, all things considered, is a pretty good GTA clone. Instead of being a thug, however, you’re an undercover cop… which makes this feel like one of those “Crime Doesn’t Pay” comic books from the 1950’s. You’re allowed to see the crime in exciting (even lurid) detail, then have a conversation about how bad these criminals are and how we’re going to take them down.
The storyline is pretty good, though. They establish who you are and do so in such a way that the missions make sense no matter if you put your emphasis on the cop storylines or the crime storylines.
So… what are you playing?
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
I’m up to the final boss, and busy finishing all the mini-games, solving all the side-quests, and collecting all the various upgrades and thingamajigs before I take him on.
