The more I play Assassin’s Creed III, the sillier it gets. I am absolutely charmed… I can see how someone who enjoys historical accuracy might find the game to be less enchanting, though. At the same time, I can see others vaguely irritated that you do things like “buy off typesetters” to deal with the heat coming down. “You mean you buy propaganda to get the cops off your back?” “Um… yes.”
No politics.
So… what are you playing?
Playing the heck out of Black Ops 2 to level up and fet some firepower worth having.
Would you want to review that? I haven’t played Call of Duty since COD2.
I could do that – although Erik has been rocking out some reviews for it at Forbes.
Oh, I know!
But if I thought that “I don’t want to double efforts of what Erik’s doing”, I’d be stuck catblogging.
I’ll throw some early impressions together and email them over to you.
Dark Souls. I forgot how much Demon’s Souls made me want to throw my controller through the television. Die, grind, repeat.
I bought Towns, I was hoping it would be less of a beta than it is, the interface is super clunky and that’s kinda key when you’re talking about a game where you click on things to make your people do the things that make the game go.
The conceit is pretty cool, so I’ll give it another go later this week.
I still have not successfully logged into GFWL, so Dark Souls continues to taunt me. I’m hoping to have the time this holiday weekend to sit through the necessary tech support in order to play my stoopid game.
I made up for the above by smashing some more things in Torchlight II. I’m up to level 82 now, about ready to finish NG+ and trying to decide if I should roll another character or push through to level 100.
I’m sorry. I bought Towns and thought “this sucks”.
I should have said something.
No worries, I have a bunch of friends over at my regular gaming forum that have been playing it a lot, so I would have bought it regardless.
That said, I am sure there’s got to be room for recommending against certain things, not just for, if you’re willing to put the energy into writing about something that’s not so good.
