Okey doke. We decided that we were going to press on with reading Sandman without taking an extended vacay. As such, we’ll just take a small one of a couple of weeks.

, put in your order. This is one of those get in, sit down, shut up, and hang on story arcs. This is also, coincidentally, where I jumped into Sandman way back in late 1991 (or was it early 1992?) when it came out under the brand-spankin-new “Vertigo” brand. My jaw dropped. My idea of a good comic book was, like, Spiderman 2099. Brief Lives made me grab friends and say “YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!!”
