I am still chock in the middle of Remember Me and I picked up The Last of Us yesterday on my lunch break, I’ve been perfectly absorbed into a little 5 dollar Steam game called “Recettear” where you’re a shop owner in an RPG and it’s your job to outfit the various adventurers that come into town (and turn enough of a profit to pay off your adventurer father’s debt).
I always feel dumb when I buy a Premium AAA game and then spend the evening saying “well, I want to see what happens next…” with a game that cost 1/10th as much. Grah.
So… what are you playing?
I’m playing Mass Effect 3. For all the complainants that game gets (and not without reason), I just finished the Tuchanka section, and I have to say there are some really masterful parts to Mass Effect 3.
Dude, there were *AMAZING* parts to Mass Effect 3. Tuchanka may have been highest of the high, even. When you got the Mother Of All Thresher Maws to *HELP*?
Aw, yeah. That was awesome.
Tuchanka is awesome , no question. Although for some reason Rannoch hits me the hardest.
I saw the writer’s thumb on the scale on Rannoch.
Tuchanka felt inevitable. Rannoch felt like my hand was being forced.
You make a fair point, Rannoch did feel a little forced, while Tuchanka felt entirely organic.
“Oh, I miss phosphates almost as much as I miss punching my old man in the face”
