You should ask Jason Kuznicki if he’s interested in writing about Thermidor. His PhD is in enlightenment-era French History IIRC, so he’d be able to incorporate a lot of real-world knowledge the way I did with my Midsummer recap.
I’ll send an email but he’s mentioned in (I think it was) one of dear Russell’s stupid Tuesday questions that Sandman was something that everyone thinks he should be interested in but… he’s just not.
