I’m off to the theater to catch Green Lantern. (No, not in 3D.)
Jaybird
Jaybird is Birdmojo on Xbox Live and Jaybirdmojo on Playstation's network. He's been playing consoles since the Atari 2600 and it was Zork that taught him how to touch-type. If you've got a song for Wednesday, a commercial for Saturday, a recommendation for Tuesday, an essay for Monday, or, heck, just a handful a questions, fire off an email to AskJaybird-at-gmail.com
Finishing up Game of Thrones (HBO) tonight, I’m very interested to see how they finish out Daenerys’s part, and we’ve recording the premiere of Falling Skies on the DVR for later viewing.
We picked up the box set of the first four books the other day to help Maribou prep for the release of number five (Neil Gaiman was wrong, I tell you!).
What did Neil say?
“George R R Martin is not your bitch.”
So, he is, in fact, your bitch?
I’m just sayin’.
Not until he finishes writing the whole thing. Robert Jordan taught me that.
Easy A. No, seriously. It’s Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club and maybe a few movies featuring John Cusack (Say Anything actually gets mentioned). Good fun.

Reading The Second World War by John Keegan. Yeah Jay: More Hitler.
I’ll check with the judges but you may have won a second bottle of wine.
Fish yeah!
Just finished the latest LeCarre, Our Kind of Traitor . Reflected, not for the first time, that betrayal is the man’s one and only theme.
Did you know GRRM was going to be in Denver on July 31st? I met him on the Feast for Crowsbook tour back in 2005. He’s a very entertaining speaker.
Maribou will be thrilled. I’ll let her know!
