So I’m a few hours into Saint’s Row: The Third and, once again, I find myself far more interested in real estate than running the missions (I had this exact problem with Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood). Why can’t these guys see that taking over the garment, medical, and recreational interests *IS* taking over the city?
So… what are you playing?
I was playing Minicraft and I plan on playing Torchlight later on today.
I’ve been picking at AC:Revelations. It’s too similar to Brotherhood to really grab my attention, but it’s pleasant enough (in a bloody kind of way) to play a little bit at a time.
I just got to an ending in Bastion, I was floored.
Now I know why I hate narrative games – they were all trying to tell a story the way Bastion does – only they all bombed out completely.
Really? I haven’t gotten around to beating it… I take it I should?
Yes, the game hits a great stride later on. I almost quit after a level or two but I kept it up after hearing so much good about it from friends. Once the plot starts to move it becomes very engrossing and, dare I say, emotional.
If nothing else, the music and voice work in this game is absolutely remarkable.
Well right now I’m going to play some Saint’s Row Third myself. Maybe see ya around for some killin’ sometime?
If I’m on, I’m down.
(right now, however, I’m fixing to go to bed)
Last night I beat Saints Row 2.
Now I need to debate on doing the DLC for it, doing Saints Row 3 (which requires buying it) or working on some other game. Currently uncompleted I have to pick from:
Dragon Age Origins (and Awakening)
Fable 3
Fall Out New Vegas
or spending time in an MMO:
Rift
DC Universe Online
Oh, how I loved New Vegas.
Oh, how I loved Dragon Age Origins.
Yeah… I just wish that either game had a multiplayer mode so I could get the wife in with me. We may need to blow the dust of NWN2 or something.
I miss the days of playing WoW together but I don’t want to go back to playing WoW.
