(This is a guest post from our very own Reformed Republican!)
For those that missed the first virtual board game get-together, we will be gathering again this Saturday (May 18th!) on Teamspeak at 6:30 PM Eastern. We will organize tables and discuss how to get things set up, with the intent of starting the games around 7.
We will be playing Small World. It is a map control game, but it is light, fast, and fun. Races and powers are randomly combined, as you play out a race you get to pick a new one. The goal is to earn the most Victory Points. The game is for 3 – 5 players. Depending on the number of players, we will split into groups as necessary. If you know the rules and are willing to run a virtual table, please let me know.
Vassal, the board game client, can be downloaded here.
Small World rules are here.
A playthrough on Wil Wheaton’s Tabletop is available here.
Vassal Module is here.
For voicechat, we will be using Teamspeak3. It can be downloaded here.

I’ll have to bow out this time around. I’ve already volunteered to help out at a non-internet boardgame event on Saturday.
Have fun!
I keep saying I want to do this, and I will one day, but I can’t get out of my plans for this Saturday 🙁
I’m game again.
…and then I go and forget about it until the day after it happens.
