Seen From The Aqueduct

The Wife and I took the dogs for a walk today along the aqueduct. Here are some of the things we saw. Each picture expands to a very large photograph, suitable for use as wallpaper on your Windows environment.

First, the aqueduct itself, with Palmdale in the background:


Then, a ranch located in a canyon in a foothill of the Santa Susanna Mountains, complete with donkey seeking shade:


These are examples of the local almond trees in blossom:


And a fine specimen of a wild Joshua tree:


It’s about three miles from one bridge to the other and back. The dogs are sacked out, which of course was the objective of the exercise.
