In a way, I agree with the sign “No Amnesty”. It isn’t a political issue with me … it’s one of fairness. Why should people who broke our laws be allowed to stay … while those who are obeying the law are still waiting to enter the country?

Well of course … they failed their TAKS (Texas Assesment of Knowledge and Skills) test. Here in El Paso, the major school districts decided to let the students who failed the TAKS to participate as long as they “promised” to fufill the requirements for graduation.
