I didn’t watch the Joe and Sarah show tonight. Instead, I went out to dinner with lawyers in my firm and my wife tonight instead. I heard about three minutes on NPR and Palin didn’t sound like a fool — it was a fast-paced, polarized exchange that illuminated nothing about whose tax and health care plan would be good and whose would be bad. But I saw a graphic of poll respondents’ reactions on the TV as we left the restaurant. You’ll never guess what it showed:
Republicans thought Sarah Palin won. Democrats thought Joe Biden won. Independents were about evenly split.
