I got my hairs cut yesterday. Really cut — I told the hair stylist to use a #1 clipper on the side and a #2 clipper on top. The result is nearly a buzz cut; the shape of my skull is clearly visible and my head feels covered with peach fuzz. Showering is awesome — I do not need to dry my hair at all. It still looks and feels odd, because I’ve been so used to having inch-long to two-inch-long hair for basically all my adult life. But I wanted to try something new and easy. The Monk seems to have a great time of it being totally bald; I don’t think I can do that but I can do this. And if I don’t like it, I just have to wait for a while to grow it out.
