Granted, the US team should never have allowed itself to fall two goals behind Slovenia. But it sure looks to me like we got the go-ahead goal with no foul called first. That goal should have counted, and the USA, not Slovenia, should be sitting atop Group C in the World Cup. As it is, though, we could sure use a little help from Algeria against England later today if we’re going to qualify for the Round of 16.
