This is a really bad sign. Yet another wake-up call. I’m guessing that more alarms will be needed.

Okay, I gave up discussing politics for Lent, so let me keep this to a purely economic discussion.
The reason why Pimco dropped the bonds is because interest rates are too low. Why are interest rates low? Because there’s a huge demand for bonds so the government can afford to keep rates low and still count on investors to buy them.
And Pimco is an outlier here. Check T-bond yields right now. Interest rates are lower, even after a well-publicized dumping!
Aha! You’ve fallen into my clever atheistic trap, Professor Knapp! Muh-wah-hah-ha! Now, you have rendered yourself vulnerable to my merciless (but intended in good humor) teasing about religion: you may have given up writing about political events, but clearly you haven’t given up reading about them! Soon, soon the temptation to write and comment on politics will become too great for you to bear. Another immortal soul corrupted! (Two more and I get a free toaster.)
You tagged me. I have given up simply writing and commenting about politics. To that end I have limited my political consumption, but not eliminated it. Success without temptation is no success at all!
Also, you’re sounding dangerously like this guy….
