You know, I think I may agree with this. From the Ayn Rand school to the Great Escape parody to Homer’s reaction to the play, this episode is a competitor. “I wasn’t bored; I was sad.”
I am sorry to see that you have evidently started smoking crack.
The two best Simpsons episodes are either “Last Exit to Springfield” or “Krusty Gets Kancelled.”
A strong candidate:
“Dental plan! … Dental plan!”

“So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time.”
I’ve also used the International Brotherhood of Jazz Dancers, Pastry Chefs, and Nuclear Technicians in business law class hypotheticals. No one ever seems to get the joke.
Was this the one with the union strike? That might actually be the one. The scene where Burns and Smithers go through all of the Get Smart like security doors, only to get to a room that has a broken screen door on the other side is a classic.
That may be my favorite TV moment of all time.
I really thought I knew you people. I really thought I had found people I could call brothers.
sigh…
A Fish Called Selma, featuring not only a full episode of Troy McClure but this bit of Broadway showmanship:
I laughed and laughed and laughed, but in retrospect, I think Troy McClure was best in small doses, as was McBain.
“Oh! Streetcar!” is far and away my favorite parody from the show. Well, either that or “The Amendment Song”. Picking a favorite show in its entirety is an impossibility for me, but the first one to come to mind is “Lisa’s Substitute.”
Luv that episode. Pity they can’t show it anymore.
