Playoff ice hockey, with no possibility of a tie score, is some of the most intense sport you’ll ever watch. Like tonight in an elimination round of the Stanley Cup finals. With thirty-five seconds left in regulation, the Penguins tied it up in Game 5, and won it ten minutes into triple overtime, keeping their Cup hopes alive. It’s times like this that I miss my television.
Damn, that must have been intense. Not even like the sissy penalty-kick shootouts like the one that won the Championship League a week ago, which up until then was apparently a remarkably tense football (that is, soccer) game. Keep playing until someone wins.
