Walking the Dogs

For the past three days now, I’ve been interrupting my day by taking the dogs for walks up and down our neighborhood. The housing development has three streets, and Google Earth tells me that if we go up and down both side streets and back down the main street to La Casita, the total trip is one mile. So I keep the doggers on their leashes and off my neighbors’ yards, and they (and I) get a mile every day. I feel better after doing it and the dogs do, too.

The little dog, Karma, keeps straining at her leash until she gets tired from all the walking. If any of the Loyal Readers have any suggestions about how to train her to be a better leash walker, let me know!
