This is an electron microscope picture of the common rhinovirus. Right now, millions of these microscopic parasites are attempting to seize control of my pulmonary and lymphic systems. I feel miserable.
At least now I have something to blame for my lack of ability to sleep at a regular time — the pressure on my nose last night was so intense I had to try sleeping in a chair to let the pressure subside.
