  1. Gravity’s Rainbow, in that I can make sense of neither.

  2. The Bible. A partial reconstruction:

    1. Rebekah (appears in Genesis)
    2. Jeremiah (his middle name)
    3. ???
    4. Courtney Michelle Love (archangel Michael, mentioned in Daniel)
    5. ???

I’m not sure. Probably I’m way, way off here.

  3. Glenn Shadix twice? And do you have any idea how many different projects Roddy McDowall has been involved in?

This is really a tough one, I think.

    • Yes, Glenn Shadix twice. That was not an error. And yes, this one feels diabolically obscure clever inspired difficult.

  4. Roddy McDowell — Planet of the Apes — Apeman —

Is Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround your second-favorite Kinks album?

  5. Here’s your Tuesday hint: the work of literature in question falls within the genres of both history and biography.

  6. “The Twelve Caesars” is the answer, though I’m ashamed to admit that I’d never heard of the book before today. Google and IMDb combine into a powerful trivia-solving device.

    • Very nicely done.

Am I correct that in some case (e.g. Otho), the character played is a different person of the same name as the Caesar? (I see that Peter Corrigan played the hobbit Otho Sacksville-Baggins in The Fellowship of the Ring.)
