A very good conversation with The Great Man this morning. He’s well pleased with the substance of the reports from Kingsport. He also said that he was encouraged by my sparring incident with the lawyer, about which I wrote previously. I’m pleased that I held my own and acquitted myself with a little panache, but I think The Great Man was happy that the other lawyer felt it necessary to spar with me in the first place — it means I’m being taken seriously.
