Sunday!

So… what are you reading/watching?

Maribou and I went out on a date last night to a little steakhouse and, in response to the question “so what are you thinking about?”, I (of course) answered “Batman”. We then got into a small discussion over the argument over why Batman can’t kill the Joker and I held the position that, in real life, Batman would have killed the Joker by now.

I supposeĀ a counter-argument to this could be found in Batman RIP that Batman and the Joker are deliberately engaged in their little dance for reasons having nothing to do with morality and when someone like the Black Glove shows up, the Joker is just as happy to fight alongside Batman to restore the status quo and get things back to the way it’s supposed to be.

So I’m reading that again.

  1. I’m reading John Scalzi’s The Ghost Brigades. So far it’s a bit too pulpy for my tastes, but I’m sure I’ll see it through.

    • I really enjoyed Scalizi’s trilogy +1

As for myself, I’ve almost finished re-reading A Clash of Kings.
