Last night we had guests (WHAT WAS I THINKING?) and we ate pizza and played Munchkin Quest. Today, while doing laundry, I hope to beat Saint’s Row: The Third… at which point I don’t know what to play next. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations strikes me as a potential choice if it wasn’t pretty much the exact same game as Saint’s Row (well, in the part of the game that I look forward to the most, anyway). Maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and finally play Deadly Premonition…
So… what are you playing?
At this very moment I am playing Word with Friends! on my phone. Which I think qualifies me for lamest gamer on the entire League.
You’ll not do worse than me, my friend, as, in addition to Words, I have included chess and reversi to my phone gaming library this week.
Awesome! You and I, TIm, we are the dorks at the nerd table.
I used to be a nerd, I swear. What happened to me…
That dang D&D Facebook game that D got me hooked on.
Kill Doctor Lucky tonight. Maybe Chrononauts.
Not playing this weekend. Next weekend is session two of my D&D style tabletop RPG, so I have campaign writing to do.
I just completed a second Bastion playthrough so I could make the opposite choices I made the first time (glad to have tried it, but one set definitely feels more right than the other, I think).
Now I need to figure out what’s next – those Wii games that are staring at me forlornly or one of the numerous Steam games I bought over the Holidays.
I know what you mean. One of the endings to that game is among the most haunting things I’ve seen.
I completed my first playthrough of Bastion tonight and was surprised to see how much the narrative evolved after so-and-so left our hangout place in anger (which is where I stopped playing before).
Seriously awesome game.
I’d say that part where he leaves is where the narrative really takes off.
It’s a long weekend down here, though I don’t have much in the way of plans. It would be the second session of our Deathwatch campaign, but several of us couldn’t make it.
I have nearly finished up my second playthrough of Skyrim though. I think I’ll go back to Mass Effect 2 next. One last playthrough before Mass Effect 3 comes out.
I LOVE Munchkin!! <3 There are just so many to choose from; I can't pick a favorite.
Mini golf and ski-ball. It was Staff Appreciation Day for the gaming convention I’m involved with, so we had a day at the arcade.
Fun! Best staff appreciation ever!
Fun yes. But the best is either the one with the six foot tall beachball or the one where the club adviser let us into his dedicated game room an barbecued tri tip.
You’re making me re-think my career choice. Now tell me it isn’t ALL fun and games where you work.
