This was bound to happen. I find a $16 dollar bottle of wine on sale for $12 and I get home and look it up on the ‘tubes and find that it normally sells for $10.
In any case, I have a bottle of Dynamite Winery 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon breathing. (Ah, this makes me feel better… says it’s $23.)
From the website: Primarily from the Red Hills Lake County appellation, this Dynamite Cabernet Sauvignon offers up aromas of black fruit, cassis, and chocolate followed by flavors of luscious blackberry cobbler and toffee.
It’s got a pleasant enough nose and I’m looking forward to watching Burn Notice season 3 with a glass.
Thats why it’s important to never, ever check those things.
Up until now, I’ve been beating the websites by a couple of bucks (if not more!).
