I e-mailed in sick today; I wasn’t really sick but I needed sleep in the morning and quiet to get my work done. Amazingly, I did. Maybe my musings about being unable to focus at home were overly pessimistic.
Come to think of it, maybe I ought to do that more often. It sure makes working at the office more tolerable when you don’t have to actually be in the office.
