Motivators

I don’t know why it took me so long to do it, but I’ve found a site that creates parodies of those annoying “motivator” posters. You know the ones — a black background with a beautiful picture in the middle, and a brightly-colored and totally vapid motivational phrase on the bottom. The first time I saw one of these things, surely more than fifteen years ago, I thought that they cried out for parody. For a while, I was pretty pleased with the creations of Despair, Inc. But now that I can do my own, the only limits are the depths of my irony, and my ability to locate amusing photographs on the Internets!

  1. There, I fixed it for you. Despair.com also now has its own build-your-own poster function, too.
