A really good online interview with Newt Gingrich. Worth a read, whether you’re liberal or conservative. In particular, Gingrich offers his take on the “Republican Reboot” theme I and many others have been writing about — he thinks that social conservatives aren’t the problem and that the basic GOP coalition is just fine; but his concern is that they have taken too much of the limelight and there needs to be greater emphasis placed on agenda items offered by moatdiggers, budget hawks, and tax-cutters.
