Left over from when I bought Brewers tickets on our trip to Milwaukee, I got on the Brewers’ season ticket mailing list. The flyer came to the office today and it included an image of one of the most fun things at the game — the sausage race. Only, the graphic made me raise an eyebrow. Do you have the same reaction, Readers?
It’s easy enough to identify the bratwurst, Italian sausage, and the chorizo; it’s more difficult to tell between #2 and #4 as to which one is the Polish sausage and the hot dog. But the characterizations of the ethnic groups are, I think, just a little bit on the wrong side of being politically incorrect. Maybe I’m being over-sensitive here.
